NEED INPUT FROM BODY SHOP AND SERVICE MANAGERS

Postby srsi michael » Mon Oct 20, 2003 11:03 am

We are developing a website dedicated to safety in your shops and we are trying to pack in the information.

HOWEVER, I want to know what kind of information would be more valuable to you guys.

So tell me what you would like to see on the website, or tell me what you can't find on any other website.

Thank you for you time, and thank you to anyone who posts.

NEED INPUT FROM BODY SHOP AND SERVICE MANAGERS

I am neither, but can't resist to chime in. Managers who call me looking for safety information and solutions usually looking for the "answer-in-a-box." When it gets down to it, they really don't care about the rules and potential fines for failing to do something - they want to obey the law and protect their people. So if say a page was like "just what you need to know about safety glasses" with links to levels of solutions - buy glasses, signs, etc. along with links for further information if they desire that would be great.

NEED INPUT FROM BODY SHOP AND SERVICE MANAGERS

Information on handling and disposing Hazardous Waste and what constitutes Hazardous Waste would be helpful. Also links to pages for individual State Regulations in these matters.

The reason I bring this up is because we currently have a recall on fuel tanks and it took quite a few phone calls and research to make sure we properly desposed of the old tanks.
