Service Manager Pay

Here is a simple question I would like to ask in follow-up to the "Service and Parts" conflict subject. A simple "YES" or "NO' to the following question would be appreciated. Thank you.....

Are both you and the parts manager paid off the same figure (total fixed operations net) per month?

This information will be used strictly for a percentage between the YES and NO answers.

Chuck,
I know that "Sallen 1" believes in all of the managers, fixed and variable, shoulds be paid on the same line. I do not have a problem in theory with it, but if I was in this situation, I would want to have some say in the efficiency of the variable department. I firmly believe fixed operations operates much more efficiently than variable. It is like comparing the customer quality issues of your average sales person vs. your average advisor.There is no comparison. this is a good opening for a continued discussion of this subject.
