In the world of statistics is there a "industry average" percentage of 1 line repair orders for domestic dealers? Just curious as to how my people stack up.

One-line repair order compared to all CP Repair orders is 15-20% depending on franchise. Some would take out quick lube lanes, but not necessarily LOFs in normal shop.

Again, maybe roughly enlightening but I would never use it as a hard goal. Some shops have a 30K as a single line, some have it as individual lines for each operation. All I know is sometimes an LOF is just and LOF.

The more lines on a warranty RO the better. Each line can have a labor op. $$$$

I have a card with Toyota Service Performance Guides, have had it a long time. It says line RO.s % total RO 25%
It also states Customer Labor Hours per RO 2.0-2.5 , with maint. sales at 70 percent of total service sales

In response to your 1 line R.O. question;
I am Presently at a Toyota store in the midwest that includes all R.O.'s in the R.O. avg, store also does a ton of LOF business, (avg Month 1000 c/p tickets and approx 750 of them contain a LOF operation. our major services are 1 line R.O.'s and we struggle to stay at 20% or less for one line R.O.'s.
Our R.O. avg stays in the 1.5 Range.
The best Toyota store in our 20 group is at a 1.6 R.O. avg and that is considered to be a Solid job.
