Effective Labor rate

Does anyone have any info about grid/matrix pricing. I understand the consept, but how are the increases calculated? Do the advisors sell the labor with the part on individual recemondations, or package the labor as a whole? I would like to incorporate this into our department, but I'm not sure how to go about it!

What is your posted labor rate,and what is your current effective labor rate?

My door rate is $112.00 per hour and my ELR is $93.77. I 've done an R/O analysis on 50 or so R/O's and for repairs our elr is $105.00,for maintenance it's $105.00, and for competitive(lof's) it's $70.00.

GMFXDOPSMGR Can you point him to the RO Exception Report, and help him select so we can identify where the discounts are happening?????

I have an adjustable labor grid, you can certainly have it, but you are probably better off correcting discounting first. I find that I very rarely use the grid. I prefer to work with pricing structure and pay plans. It makes it easier to monitor and adjust.

The Exceptions report is 3619. Tag the items you want to see. 30 day report will give a lot of information, who, when, which terminal, etc. e-mail me @ tom_edwards@proctorcars.com
