Best shop floor coverings

My dealership is fixing to build a new facility. We have taken many tours of new dealerships in our area, and have seen many different examples of shop floor coverings, from porcelain tile to sealed concrete. Does anyone have a shop floor that is easy to maintain and holds up to the abuse a shop floor gets?

The new water based Epoxys work well if applied when the concrete is "green". Apply heavy to let it penetrate and "stain" the green concrete and it will last for decades.
Some concrete contractors know how to use this process when finishing the concrete.
If the floor is finished, I would go with Polyurethane finishes. This holds up better than most epoxys.

We have coated our service floor with a Poly-Max product that is a bottom coat that is an Epoxy coat and then an top coat that is an Urethane coat. It has held up extremely well to all chemicals, etc.

I put down an epoxy floor in our shop. the floor was very old and the company did a great job of prepping it and installing it. I am on year 4 and other than alittle wear here and there it looks good. If I had a new facility though I would look at the new rubberized shop tiles. They last forever and if you damage one you can replace indvidual tiles. They are more expensive to start but you wont have to reapply something every few years to keep it up.
