Here is one way you can do this, though there may be others.

1) First, setup the report in 6910- use this setup:

MAY 9, 2008 SERVICE SALES REPORT Store 01 SERVC01 PORT 5016 3608
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REPORT NAME 3608
FILE NAME 3608WORK CREATOR SOFTWARE SUPPORT
REPORT TYPE SORT MODIFIED BY SOFTWARE SUPPORT LAST SAVED 05/09/2008
ENTER FIELD(S) TO SORT BY OP CODE
SELECT SORT SEQUENCE (A=ASCENDING D=DESCENDING) A LAST PRINTED 05/09/2008

ENTER SELECTION CRITERIA

FIELD CONDITION VALUE AND/OR

ENTER COLUMN HEADINGS[055] OP CODE;#EFF LABOR RATE;TECH HRS;TECH BILL AMT;RO NO

ENTER ? AT ANY PROMPT FOR VALID SELECTIONS OR ?? FOR FULL DESCRIPTIONS
(B=BACK)(M=MODIFY)(N=NEXT)(NR=NEW RPT)(O=ONSCREEN)(P=PRINT)(S=SAVE)

On the second 6910 screen, break on OP CODE.

You may want to add selection criteria to pick the specific op codes you want.

The '#' in front of EFF LABOR RATE will average the ELR for the op code and display the average at the end of the particular op code listing.

2) Next, whenever you want to run the report, go to 3608. Select option 1 for LABOR OPERATION COUNT REPORT. Enter the desired date range. E to enter.

6910 will then appear-- select the report you built in step 1 and run the report.

The 3608 program builds the data in the 3608WORK file-- the data in that that file is only current as of the last running of 3608, so whenever you want this report, run 3608 first with the updated dates.

You can access the report directly from 6910- it will just use the data (i.e.; date range) from the last time 3608 was run.
