How long for rep to auth claims? GM

I've had a wide range of numbers floated to me and I've watched for a couple of stores so now I am putting this question out there:

How long do you have to wait for your GM rep to authorize a 'H-routed' claim?

It seems that the best I hear is 10 days. More often than not it is 2-3 weeks and in some cases it is 6-8 weeks. I have several cases were the rep will even reload the claim in WINS every few weeks so it doesn't drop off the system. In my book, if you have enough time to upload the claim then you have time to either approve or deny the claim.

It just seems to me that there is a lot more holding on to claims for no reason. What are your experiences?

my rep auth is in two days ,tops,good guy easy to get along with.

Mine are usually handled in 2 maybe 3 days. But I have a great relationship with my rep and try to work closely with him.

I am a major northeast dealership with 27 techs doing about 100k a month in warranty. i have 2 claims that go back to May and 2 to june 11 in July any suggestions. service manager doesn't want to ruffle feathers. I was looking for the orginal bulletin which I think stated that reps would take 2 cycles to clearclaims. Thanks

I believe the 2 cycle time table is correct. If the cliam is not paid/denied/responded to in 2 cycles, resend it for authorization. As for the question "my avm and claim auth time," well no response from here just in case my avm is watching. I have nothing good to say so mouth is being closed.
