Average service Advisor pay

Great question, great information so far. Unfortunately, the amount will vary greatly depending on location...maybe double or even triple comparing SoCal to Michigan.

It would be very helpful if we knew what percentage is budgeted for SA pay as was mentioned in one reply.

We are around 7%. I have seen numbers ranging from 5% to 12%. What is your budget? Is it too high, to low, what is your goal?

And let's clarify where we're taking the percentage from :-)

Labor sales? Labor and parts sales? Departmental Gross ?

It's nice to know what the mean numbers are. But, your service advisors' pay should be structured so that no matter what they make you are reaping the benefits from it. I wish all my advisors made 100k/year. Give them a program that they can work, and let em eat!!!!

I'm at 8 - 10% of gross, c/p, w/int. no salary. all comm. Gross profit pay plan 4-6%
bonus based on elr/hrs/ro
4-6% is based on individual CSI monthly.
Gets all the numbers we want in the equation. Got this from ATcon. Tweaked it to fit the need for service/parts sales. Advisors are locked into the set % range. sales goes up, their pay goes up. We never vary from the 8-10% of gross sales range.
