07 New Model Parts

What is the concensus for ordering maintenance parts for new models (i.e. air filters). My parts mgr does not want to stock until lost sales dictate so, but does this affect CSI? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Unless it is a limited production model, I order a case of Air/Oil filters ,4-6 wiper inserts, 2-3pass compartment filters as soon as the part numbers are released.
They will sell.
Most anything else goes in after it meets my DMS specifications.

a wiper arm
and a battery no parts we had to robb peter to pay paul
