We use the last 3 months and same month last year, take an average and add 8%.

Well, I get out my darts and my rubber chickens, throw a few darts at the board, do a voodoo dance with the chickens and sacrifice a bottle of 5W20 synthetic...lol. Actually, I pretty much use the same formula as Darrell except I add 10 points instead of 8. Cheers!!

Are you looking for something to build a forecast for an entire year - based on historical performance data? Such as: Repair Orders by pay type, Hrs per RO by pay type, ELR by pay type, planned RO growth by pay type and parts to labor ratio by pay type?

If that is the type of forecast you are considering I have a good template that has been tweaked over the last 10 years. You can email me at bterbo1@yahoo.com and I will email it to you.

FYI - I am not a consultant (not trying to sell anything) - I am a FOD for a large dealer group.
