I am not 100% sure in Nissan, but generally the rule is to just keep going in sequence until you get enough. When I submit sometimes I will send both with other makes and without, if it makes little difference on ELR.
So if the sample says do 100 sequential and 40 of the 100 must be "included" for the survey and you only get 22 in 100 - just keep going until you get the 40 minimum (or whatever the standard is for Nissan). Actually in R&R and ADP, I just generate a report covering 3 months and select my sample out of that with the best ELR. You still have to look at the ROs to make sure something didn't slip in that should be excluded, but by a quick sort of make, pay type and labor op, you can get a pretty close guess where you should be.
These types of co-mingled surveys are a little easier on R&R stores that have seperate stores set-up by the franchise because then in a 6910 report logged in under the Nissan store, only the stuff written on that store should show up with dollars, but the RO#'s will still be sequentially (again make sure your fields for the report are RO#, date, make, pay/sale type, labor op, CP hours, CP labor cost and CP labor sale). Export to excel using report wizard and you should be able to cut down some of the manual work of finding the right sample.
