MFG. CODE on old source

I'm trying to find out what happens if I change the MFG CODE on two sources. We haven't used this vendor is 5 years and no longer have their price tape.

I'm cleaning up one of our dealers and trying to consolidate some sources into just a couple of order pads. since the mfg. codes need to be the same for the order pad I was just going to change the source setup.

will this do anything bad by just change this code??

No problem, you answered the big question by saying you don't use price tapes.

1 Use MSSO to change the manuf code.
2 It will warn you to run AST (add sort) when you change it.
3 The screen will automatically take you to order pad setups.
4. Run AST to make the parts sort in manufacture order when you run reports.
