40+, thank you for the information. Makes sense, then again most things in this forum make sense plus a little humor from time to time.

You are quite welcome.... ;)

No replies yet from WhoParted - DMSOUTH - Cville ????

Here is a heads up for you people:

If you are not charging out the BULK part #s correctly if your Job Card is a Warranty claim, then you are throwing money out the window.

GM recognizes 12356150 as having a cost of 22 cents per OUNCE.

You can charge out 3 lbs or 6 half pounds at any price you want. Guess what? GM pays for the quantity of 3 or 6 at 22 cents per quantity (ounce).

Your Warranty people must be asleep and you are losing money.

Have someone pull a recently Paid WARRANTY claim that has 12356150 Refrigerant on it.... and see what the requested amount was compared to what GM actually paid ( if you are not properly charging it out in OUNCES ).

You are in for a SHOCK!

If you charged out QUANTITY 3 GM paid you 93 cents for 3 lbs of freon. Under WARRANTY, you lose $4.66 for every lb of freon you charge out ETC.........

The only way to get this part # recognized and paid properly is OUNCES.

Thank you for the info. We are getting low on r134 and when I purchase more I intend to receipt it and sell it the CORRECT way so we aren't throwing money away any more. Every little bit helps...

High 5 Bailo...... ;)

There appears to be some PM's not aware of the bulletin. I work ( part-time ) for parts - service - warranty and see alot more bulletins than most Managers do. I have more FREE TIME on my hands to read everything.

The warranty payment discrepancy has to be charged to SOMEONE's Account.

Better find out WHO's account that is and make the necessary corrections to keep this from happening.

I am going to fix it in my system. I vaguely rmember hearing something a couple years ago, but none of my warranty clerks I've gone through the last couple years have said anything to me. Thanks for the heads up. More stupid GM dumbassness. :)

High 5 cville...... ;)

GM is sneaky enough to let this pricing OVERSIGHT pass through the Warranty process and PAY the claim for parts according to it's pricing guidelines. They really don't care if the processed amount claimed was wrong and you were paid less than you should been paid. They encourage it! BONUS BINGO !!!!!!!!

According to the Bulletin PAG Oil is to be charged out per the OUNCE.

Reference: Bulletin #: G_0000167773 dated 6/10/2013

Additionally.... the bulletin indicates this:

For any bulk part not captured on this list, enter the quantity and manually reduce the unit cost (quart, by foot, etc) as applicable and submit in the Parts field of GWM.

I would really like to see this bulletin but I have had no luck pulling it up on GlocalConnect.
I have tried bulletin #, date range, etc.
Any ideas?
