Hope they do not call back the one and only that we have done. We did NOT have the "updated" info to to make the keys fit the doors so we gave them back to the customer. I guess WPC could cut some keys from the VIN # (as long as they do not go over their limit).

so to add to this disaster they will be paying UPS freight to get back these? Sure makes sense to me.

We have returned one so far. I am having a hard time getting the service advisors to tell the customers to get all their keys together to turn in.

I have heard we won't be able to order parts for the later recalls until October this year. No one at GM wants to touch the issue of used vehicles that cannot be sold for six months. Very frustrating.

Oh, they are being sold, I was told there is no STOP-SALE order on these at all! Our dealership has sold 2 HHRs.

But thank you for the info, I had not heard a time frame yet. :D

Any recall is effectively a stop sale, every recall bulletin states "DEALER RECALL RESPONSIBILITY – For US and Export (US States, Territories, and Possessions)
It is a violation of Federal law for a dealer to deliver a new motor vehicle or any new or used item of motor vehicle equipment (including a tire) covered by this notification under a sale or lease until the defect or noncompliance is remedied."
Technically 14092 has not been recalled, it is only an intent to recall, BUT these vehicles are subject to recall 14113 or 14133, which IS in effect. Problem is you cant just get the parts for those recalls, so WE are still in a "STOP SALE" mode on these vehicles.

Surely everyone's GM knows this?! (she says with a hint of derision toward the GM) I was so surprised we sold them!
