my letter of concern to my APM. not that it will impact anything, but I must chime in and express my dissatisfaction.

"Just venting, but this is a real slap in the face to each and every GM parts operation across the country.
The whole SPAC case level of order control was implimented to insure "equitable distribution" of a part in high demand with limited supply. Each of the 115 SPAC cases (estimated with some level accuracy) that our operation has manually inputted over the past few weeks takes at least 20 minutes to input, document, and log. Several of those SPAC cases took several hours each to upgrade to a SPAC case. Then to have GM cancel all of these SPAC cases, it is preposterous, making no sense at all.
What are we to tell our customers ?? We take our customer satisfaction very seriously, and this action by General Motors is counter-productive.
I am baffled at this course of action... and I am ready for further instructions."
