STK Stockorder Standard Ordering Sources

STK Stockorder Standard Ordering Sources

Postby TXGent72 » Thu Jun 26, 2014 12:21 am

Greetings, everyone.

ADP is our DMS.

I occasionally have an issue where a single source mysteriously jumps back into my list of sources NOT being ordered by STK.
501 is our MINI Cooper with cost over $65 source. For whatever reason, every few months or so, I see it on my Standard Ordering exception list as follows:

Enter order number (Optional)...............?STK062514

Order parts qualifying for stocking
1 = This process
2 = Next process...........................?1

STANDARD ORDERING:
ALL SOURCES WILL BE ORDERED THIS PROCESS
EXCEPT 106 107 109 121 500 501 506 507 509 517 521 700 799 800 900 950 951 953

The other sources ARE correct. We do not order from those for various reasons -local tires, local oil, non-BMW parts, etc.

Any suggestions on how to make 501 AUTOMATICALLY order instead of having to manually override it?

IE:
Add or omit any sources (Y/N)...............?Y

Enter sources to be added this process
(E.G., 1 2 4 OR 7-15).......................?501

My 501 parts are not being ordered unless we create Special orders and that is going to become a big problem unless I can fix the underlying cause now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are on DRIVE, go to IRO and make sure that auto order is checked for source 501. If it is checked, call ADP

I've been on Drive so long I'm not sure but I believe the setup is in JOB. If not go to the top of stockorders SS and look for it there. With luck your company will upgrade to Drive and you won't need to deal with function STK any longer.

Look under days supply setup. You can set up sources to automatically order there. Hope this helps.
