PC+: I HAD 2 MIS-CUT KEYS FOR THE SAME VIN CUT BY CODE (TOO DEEP). CALLED THE 1-888 # FOR PC+ & THEY MADE A DEPTH ADJUSTMENT. I WILL TEST ON THE NEXT KIT TO SEE IF IT WORKED, BUT ACCORDING TO THEM...THIS IS THEIR CURRANT FIX.

Okay for any of you who may run into this, the other dealers machine cut it perfect by the depths I gave to them, so I called the key machine tech line ppl and she said they have seen this quite a few times and we did change the depth number...Thanks for all your responses

I type the codes into the d2d key code look up tab. It will give you tumbler cuts. I compare to old key before i cut. I print it out and give to tech.

That is great advice right there! If only I had thought about this yesterday. Cut keys by code.....didnt work. Ran VIS and this vehicle was originally a fleet vehicle. I am sure somewhere along the way the cylinders were changed out. Now I have spent about 2 hours on the phone (on hold) with PQC trying to order new keys..........

Can you give me the 800# for PC+? The one I have is no longer in service and all of my messages to the other numbers I have found go unanswered.

The very first one we did must have had a different column put in from a wreckyard, but we were able to read the code on the ign cyl. Customer was fine with not having a door key, he said he hadn't had one since they changed the column! O.K. Then.....

I had one car the keycode was wrong. I had to cut the keys from the old worn out key and code the cylinder to fit. First key I cut wouldn't work. So I called and ordered one key. Next day I got a kit in without anything in the box. I called and got another kit ordered. Today I got the kit in, they sent individual parts (switch, cylinder, rings and 2 keys), but the order number for the 2 keys is the order number for the one miss cut key. Bet I get screwed out of my other key.
