Lanter...

We have Lanter and it has gotten much better. Our new driver is nice and does a good job. As far as heavy cores, we are a little store as well, we are lucky that we have a pallet jack that can lift 850 lbs. It also raises up high enough to get in the back of a semi, so while expensive I would look into buying one, it saves so much time, saves extra charges and waiting for a truck with a liftgate to become available for Central Transport and the like, and it makes moving cores between parts and service very easy even for me (a female). I leave it downstairs close to the door and when I have cores they pick them up. My delivery is in the middle of the night so there is nobody here to help him. The only thing they will not take is Duramax cores due to weight which is dumb since they can pick up 3 engines and 4 trannys from me but not an 800 lb core.

We get engines, trans, t case, etc from fed ex heavy freight. Menloe picks up our heavy cores.

Yep... My ETA is now between 11:30 and noon. Ryder guy called me cause everyone was calling him to see if he had heard anything. Apparently they sent my driver to Waco first then back through Waxahachie, then back to Roanoke to drop that trailer and pick up mine. He is supposedly on the way now....

Well guess who just showed up. No cages, everything loose, nothing separated. This is going to be a long afternoon.....

I would give anything to have Schneider back. I don't think a day goes by that we are not short a part or have another dealers
part. It was so bad for a while, all the local dealers would get together and swap out parts every morning.

When my delivery got here,(4 hours late), there was no packing list paperwork, the piece count was wrong, and the freight piece number didnt match the delivery receipt. He didnt know what I was supposed to get, nor did I. Hopefully, they will get it worked out, but I dont expect it soon...

Well, it ONLY took two hours to unload the truck cause he had to SCAN. EACH. FREIGHT. TAG. INDIVIDUALLY.... Minus most of the totes. He had to scan one entire tote. My paperwork is completely screwed up, showing over 100+ pieces. Nothing was pre sorted, all of my refferals were mixed, had to put three parts that weren't mine back on his truck. This is gonna be an interesting week....
