GM FixedOps Journeys travel Rewards!

My area rep is angry with me and the SM. We are not coughing 1k a piece to participate in their reward lottery for FixedOps managers. Really? you all are collecting over half a million to send the select few that win to Mexico? Mexico? Are you shitting me? My wife and I can goto Mexico for 3k, why in the world would our GM play in that lotto? He would tell GM to piss off!

If it were truly a once in a lifetime trip, I could see the incentive. Send me to Brisbane or South Africa, but Mexico??? Damn, I go there twice a year. I am sure some of you could drive there. It feels like another slap in the face from GM after all the recall shenanigans.

Well now, If I can get most of the 4300+ Dealers to sign up thats a handy $4,300,000.00 back in my pocket. Not only does that offset the "Fixed-ops Bonus" that I have to pay out every month and pay for a "lucky" few to go to Mexico but it will pay for the fuel in the Corp. jet for me and my coherts (including wives) to take that trip to Brisbane. Thanks for the travel idea!

I figure 4300 dealerships x 1.5 managers x 1000 for a total of 6.5 million.

You could be right!!! But you have to figure them holding back a little on the side for "ransom" money when the cartels figure out it's "GM" down there. After all, they screwed up so many small towns it's hard for the cartels to find any coyotes any more. (Well maybe only part of that is true..... maybe!)

As a smaller dealer, I wouldn't even attempt to get my dealer to sign me up for this. He is a good guy, but even with me being the possible beneficiary in the deal, it doesn't make sense. Thanks for nothing General.

We (the Dealer) have recieved bucket loads of that ever since RIM was shoved down our throats in 06. The big bucket came in 09 when they cut the discounts and allowances in half and with SLP when they cut them again. Once the Dealers were extorted into the programs and GM had "control" all you can expect to recieve from here on out is "NOTHING".
