SLP BS

Ordered a part 7/24 SLP upgraded to OVN. Did not receive part 7/25, 7/26, 7/28......called yesterday (part is for a Fed Ex truck) "oh, sorry plant 75 is behind in shipping out parts" Jake, nice guy, says "I'll call the plant and see"............................... Got my call back this morning. It is scheduled to ship on 8/4! I say "Please cancel because my customer sourced the part elsewhere" Jake says, "we can't cancel it because it's scheduled to ship" I say " Really? You just said it won't ship till next week......" He says " I understand but it's scheduled and we can't cancel it. Call your DMA and they can help you send it back." If only I had one........or a company that stands behind their BS programs.

Seems like their "canned" answer these days is :"Call your DMA." Ours could care less about anything I need unless I buy tires on the program. How is this helping GM's customers? Last time I was shorted parts, and had to get them elsewhere, our PDC was able to put in a return for the items. This case, I would try to contact the actual depot manager to verify your part can not be cancelled.

Logic has long since escaped me where their programs are concerned! My condolences for your frustration.

I buy most of my tires on the program and I still don;t see my rep. She stops in about every 7 weeks if that. If I do want to talk to her I have to e-mail or text her she doesn;t believe in answering or returning phone calls. That Great GM Feeling can you feel it????????????????????????

At least they tell you can't cancel it. They tell me they will and then the part shows up. I would rather be told an unpleasant truth than lied to.

Take the SPAC ref. # and submit a shipped in error refering to your "attempt" to cancel. Bye, Bye!

YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS STATEMENT THAT I HAVE USED IN THE PAST WHEN I HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME IDIOTIC ANSWER FROM GM.
FILE A PC659 CLAIM AND WRITE THE FOLLOWING ---

"PART DID NOT ARRIVE AS PER GM PUBLISHED SHIPPING GUIDE LINES" "EXCESSIVE DELAY".
NOTE THE ORDER DATE AND THE RECEIVE DATE.
LET THEM GET THE JUNK BACK.

I KNOW THAT GM READS ALL OF THESE REPLYS.
MAYBE THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR ANSWERS

I ordered an airbag CSO3 from Michigan (Pontiac) yesterday at 11:10 AM EST just to give them a head start - what's that 10:10 in the frigging morning for them and they still didn't get it shipped? They too busy upgrading stupid SLP parts that dealers don't need overnight to get to actual CSO3s now?

Furiously signed
