Well I received the 4 pack of rings last Saturday and just today I received the glue kit. Now I can do the ONE vehicle I have enough parts for!! :roll:

4 or 5 calls a day into parts and 4 or 5 techs a day asking for these things.

Flint shows stock but my orders keep going to 88 and sitting there under review status

WTF is there to review?

We got an answerback today from GM CNTL-RECALL 14299
six lines of 24 x23249477 cover kits and
one line of 20 x23249477, all part of pre-shipment coming from PDC 001.
The allocation of ONE tube of glue came in yesterday.

One line of 20 23249477 showed up in an answerback today. Enough for 5 vehicles from what I see by the packaging. :roll:

NO orders are writing until all the pre-ships are allocated. GM is sending these as they are produced, based on your CIDR and vehicles in inventory I suppose. The same way they cut off ordering on the 23247593 and you just had to wait until you got enough on hand to even begin notifying customers. We're still putting customers off, telling them they will get another letter when parts become available. Even with a few of these cover and ring kits on hand, I'm holding these for sold pre-owned inventory vehicles and the obligatory "but you gotta do this one...blah blah yadda yadda"

Quit sending me junk and let me order keys!!! These recalls are getting dumber and dumber and make us look shady when we start gluing stuff into keys.

Couldn't agree more Richard, with the time the techs are spending on these we could cut 2 new keys and be done with it..

Got a call from SPAC this morning asking me if I had enough 23279477s

Are you freaking kidding me?

They've sent me enough to fix 6 cars so far and have canceleed or held all the orders I've placed for them. How the hell can I have enough of them?
