#14350....replace keys

We were told to only do TWO keys per car, either just doing the recall or replacing two keys even if the customer has more to discard them. I placed an order for a key that has (no inventory) upgraded to spac. They found two dealers with keys but they both cancelled, which makes sense, if we have the keys we wouldn't want to give them away either. Then they closed my spac case without being filled. Now were the bad guys in the customers eyes.

Our rep. told us if they have an aftermarket key and you cannot do the inserts or the covers to order them a new key. Also mentioned something about keys for life on the Cobalts, customers will be getting letters in the near future to explain it to them. Hope they explain it to us since we are on the firing line.

We had an 04 Deville in for the inserts today and the slot was too worn for the inserts so he put the cover kit on it. Now the key won't go all the way into the ignition because the cover is too big. LMAO

cut 2 new keys, put the inserts in and away it went
