Good better or best keys

Use of Appropriate Keys
"We recognize there are vendors in the aftermarket, including ACDelco distributors, who offer transponder keys for sale purportedly for GM vehicles. In some instances these providers may even reference GM part numbers. The only way to ensure you are using GM approved transponder keys is to source them directly from GM Customer Care and Aftersales."

I really like this part of the statement, " including ACDelco distributors". I did not realize that GM went with the "Good, Better or Best" program when it came to keys. I have not bought any keys from AC/Delco WD but I would think that if they said GM then the WD "probably" bought them from GM with the only exceptions being that you WOULD get discounts and return capabilities. It seems difficult for me to imagine the Dealers Parts Dept actually making a buck off of taking care of GMs screw ups so they had to make sure to remind you "THAT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN ON MY WATCH". :o

For some reason when I read "Good, Better, or Best" my mind flashed to that movie from the sixties, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!

Clint (Blondie)said, "You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig."

I know I did a lot of digging when I was a GM parts manager, LOL!

PS Loved the theme song. :D

Bakos has been in the sun way too long. He is Bakos.

For us folks in the furnace, we do what we gotta do. Kinda like Shadrack, Meshack, and Abendago.

Keep up the faith...

And better yet, why do they promote their key cutting machines and not let us order keys from them?
Special Pricing on Barnes Key Cutting Machines

It's not to late. There is still time to take advantage of special pricing on Barnes Key Cutting Machines. All key cutting machines offered in this promotion are in stock and ready to ship. Cutting of new keys has ramped up over the last few months, so be sure to have the proper equipment when your customers vehicle shows up in your shop for service.

For more information on these great offers, take a look at the attached flyer, or contact GMDE at 1-800-GM-Tools to speak with one of our representatives.

#1 You would be depleting supply and the ability of GM buying keys from them.
#2 You would be getting keys at a far better price than GM gives you.
#3 You would be selling a "non-GM" product on a warranty with the "slight possibility" of making a profit. :o

OOPS!! #4 You would be satisfying the customer in a "timely" fashion.
