Creating a Tire Report in R&R Era Ignite

Creating a Tire Report in R&R Era Ignite

Does anyone know how to create a report that will show the description of the tire, cost, trade, list, QOH, QAV, and location, all from inputting into the computer the size of the tire, ie. 225/65R16.

I'm not on ignite, we are on ERAccess, but whenever we had a tire whether it is by GM part number or by size, we always add them in the system in 2101 and put them in Source 25. I have a tire account set up in accounting so this way I can control all the tires and it makes reporting so much easier. I do have to double check all of them when I get the invoices because sometimes my counterguy screws up and doesn't source them correctly.

I think you can get all that from the parts inquiry screen.
I make the size the description on all tires,I then go into inv comment and put in the name of the tie and what not.
Then if you search by description it will list all in that size, you will need to arrow down to see OH.

Create a part number using the size, in a source that does not update and make a supersession to the actual tire part number on your system that contains the additional information..

What if you have multiple types of the same size in stock?

Well, in the switch to ADP, I've nearly forgotten my R&R stuff but I'll give it a shot.
We did a report for source 27 (our tire source) and description (DESC) like the size using periods as wild cards so it would show all of that particular size.
Example: DESC like ...2156016... would show you all of your 215/60R16's.
It wasn't foolproof but would usually work pretty well. Hope that helps.
