14299 & 14350

Did anyone else notice the updated recall bulletins - version D. Part of the update states the material realistically only services 100 vehicles instead of the projected 125. However, when I looked at the claim matrix the net amount stayed the same 21 cents. What am I missing?

Someone already posted it to the DFOAB, too. I'll hold my breath waiting for GM to change the amount we can claim in net items.

YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS

I called the DBC approx a week ago about this issue. They told me, as they have before, that they couldn't review the issue because 14299 & 14350 version (D) was not in Service Information. The (D) version was only attached to a Global Connect message and (C) was in SI. DBC contends that until it is in SI the bulletin is not "released" and not official. I explained that it was a recall and I am certain legal approved release - nothing worked.

Fast forward to today - I called DBC again because (D) is now in SI. You guessed it - wait for it - the issue is impossible to review because only version (D) is in SI and DBC cannot review cost due to version (C) not being available for review. I explained that is why I called in last week. YES - I had the previous case number. Sorry for any ........ yea,

I too see the DFOAB - thanks to whomever posted it.

If I could make this stuff up I could write one heck of a TV sitcom - just no one would believe it.
