The alpha list comes in quite handy in the old catalog, I hope they bring this back.

My gripe about GM's groups in EPC, Brakes and Automatic Transmissions should be in their own group to much clutter in group 4, make a new group like 4.5

What I've been doing is going into the Part Group Index and you can sort the group titles alphabetically. Pretty much ends up being the same thing as the old alpha index.

Kia switched to snap-on web based from dvd based a couple years ago. They also offer a DVD version to cover you during downtimes. Havent had any problems with the web based once, Think its gone down once. VIN Numbers are usually in there unlike the DVD and they can update it much more frequently if they find an issue. Only complaint I have is lack of parts desc/specs but thats a KIA thing and not a snap-on thing.

What I miss is the group detail results in search.. Other than that, I just hope the local server version is about 100x faster than the web version. Just like when we went to the current catalog, from the blue screen one, each new version gets a little slower. I think this new version will be easier for novices to figure out, and pretty much make having to know group numbers obsolete. At least minor groups.. Major groups will certainly be helpful. But if I can type "sensor oxy" for example...no need to know its in 03.682

I wish they had the view image for OE parts as well as AcDelco parts. Still the image function on the delco stuff is pretty cool.

Anyone figure out how to increase the size of the page? Ctrl + doesn't do a thing.
