Era Ignite Question

Era Ignite Question

Postby Bailo1 » Fri Feb 13, 2015 11:02 am

GM store here. We switched from blue screen to Ignite a while back. When in parts inquiry--if you print the page to a laser printer, no group number is listed. Anyone else struggle with this? Is there a way to add the group number I'm unaware of? I've addressed the issue several times with Reynolds to no avail.

For the most part, we use it exclusively in parts and service, but I know our office manager never uses it...still uses blue screen. I figured at some point they were going to force the switch so I went ahead and had all my people start using it now. My biggest complaint, by far, is this group number thing.

My problem is that as PM I cant do half my job in Ignite. Then when I need to flip to Service or Acctg. I'm stymied by a frickin test to take! I gave up months ago and so did all my counter guys. With 22 years on R&R I see no advantage to it whatsoever (if you know what your'e doing in old blue)

ahh, the infamous UCS - "you can't do your job until you take this test" That really sucked. We were on UCS when I was in AZ for a few years. If you didn't get your tests done in a certain amount of time, you got locked out of the system LOL
