So......does anyone else have issues with the service, or actually lack thereof, from Central Transport? Because I have issues with Central Transport. Have had for the better part of two years now. They always deliver damaged freight and mauled packages. They refuse to deliver to my loading dock (admittedly, our facility is not 53' tractor trailer friendly), they promised to send our shipments on pup trailers or a box truck (fail), and they are ALWAYS at least 2 days past their "scheduled delivery date". In my latest episode with the fine folks at Central, the terminal managers and line haul managers are blaming the weather. They were, evidently, the ONLY trucking outfit on the east coast affected by the snow we have received recently. *that was total sarcasm* Their only saving grace is the account representative that works with us. Jenna is trying her very best to improve the level of service from this outfit, but it seems like she is spinning her wheels (corny pun not intended), because she seems to be the only one even remotely concerned with the terrible service that this company provides.
