 We have been advised several times by TechLine not to use a lower CCA battery than the vehicle was built with. Just because it's the same group size does not mean it will hold up to today's electronics and starting (high compression) demands. THIS IS NOT AUTOZONE :!:

I base my battery pricing on the O'Really across the street from me. I price out a comparable battery, and put mine just above theirs, because mine is a better battery, obviously. The chains don't charge to install, but they aren't going to put a battery in most of the Cadillacs I see anyway, so the install fee isn't an issue I take into consideration. I sell my 101PS and 48PG for $150. O'Really charges $140. I'm pretty sure I know my market better than GM does, because I have to. They don't.

I was on vacation and missed the "meeting" so forgive me I must have missed something.

$29.95 conventional LOF & rotate.

This is currently $39.95 with a $10 rebate. The $10.00 is split 50/50 between GM and dealer.

REBATE WILL BE GONE.

Dealer eats whole $10.00?

Did I understand this correctly?

The biggest question of all, and I am afraid I already know the answer, is GM listening? Are the dealers talking?

Is GM listening.... In my case, my rep isn't the most helpful or even interested in problems like this. Only how much more they can Ream (RIM) us with.
