New GM Parts manager questions

New GM Parts manager questions

Postby sipps » Sat Jul 18, 2015 3:23 am

Stumbled across this forum. New GM manager with less than two years total GM experience. And, I'm on AUTOMATE.

1. Where can I find an online catalog, or part number for the new GM touch up paint display racks?

2. How do I change my oil program to build up return allowance only, no discount?

I have so many more, but these are on my mind everyday.

Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum

Here's the # for the paint stuff:

Four-in-One Assortment Kit
88861697
24 paint tools/1 display rack
$261.36

Four-in-One Paint Rack
12346668
1 display rack
$71.25

Don't know the answer to your other question though. Hopefully, someone else will chime in with that.

Goodluck with Automate - you'll have a bundle of fun

Do a search for Christopher Crosby. he used to be my rep. I am at home so I forget his exact title, but he has to do with Gm oil program, and can change your Option.

I'm not sure what the total return reserve would be on oil but if you take the discount and direct it to 242 inventory you can do the same thing. You can't return parts but can write off obsolete, damaged, no package, non returnable parts, etc if they are a problem. Just a thought.

Go to Global Connect message G_0000215064. Click on GM dealer oil price list pdf file. Scroll to bottom of second page. Blue box. Option 1 will get you 5% return reserve.
