New Global Connect Messages

New Global Connect Messages

Postby drapp » Fri Jul 31, 2015 1:27 pm

What am I missing? It appears to me that in order to read all the messages (which I am required to do) I have to open 3 different areas - FEATURES, HEADLINES & ALERTS. Once inside each one then I can read messages that pertain to that specific area.

In the old Global all the messages were right there on the home page. If you saw My Messages (0 new) you instantly knew there was nothing to read. How is this better?

Also have any of you noticed that when you clear your browser history that the messages change color back to the 'unread' status? This goes back to the old GM Dealerworld problem. What's old is new again.

That's just one of the reasons I'm still using the old page.

Everyone please bring these issues to DFOAB. The new site is a move backwards, and makes it harder to do our jobs. The old Globalconnect will be gone Monday!

I previously sent a DFOAB. Issue # 3117. Of course there is more to complain about now that I know slightly more about the new Global.

Tag a comment on to my DFOAB or write another. the more complaints the better. Who knows they may even change the system a year or two from now.
