My local Guy that picks up my used oil just told me that they are not paying me and maybe next month they will start charging me for each gallon. Anyone else hearing this?

we store all our used oil and then burn it all to heat the shop in the winter.

Ive been hearing this for months. I set up a deal with the county to take it for free. They use it for heating in their shops county wide.

same here in NJ, used to get a few hundred bucks a month, turned into a few buck a month... Pickup guy says charging us is the next step... At least gas is cheap now! I'd rather have that...

We also went from being paid - then to zero - then paying them to take it - then back to zero - then paying a dime a gallon - now back to zero again.

We have a deal with our disposal folks, because we also may have to buy the oil back later if the winter shop heating demands it! We pay them a fair price, they pay us a fair price, and everyone is happy.
