GM NAVIGATION UPGRADE

have any of y'all done an install on this yet ( GM# 23231646 / 84000725 ) Navigation upgrade to the 2015-16 GM trucks?? I am having a conflict with the stated 1.0 hour install time that GM suggests it takes to install. My tech was on the phone with TAC for almost 45minutes alone to get the code to start the install. this would not be the first time that their stated install time would be way out of line, especially when it requires you to call TAC to set up.

Just yesterday we priced/scheduled an install for this coming Wednesday. We priced the Job @ $1200.00 (3.0 hrs labor @85.00) and the customer didn't hesitate b/c he had priced an aftermarket unit and the price was around $1050...+.... customer wanted to keep OEM look where as the a/m one requires a new a/m radio/display screen unit.

Check out the upgrade from ISS. They preprogram the new HMI with the correct software. Pricing is comparable.

We did one from ISS basiclly change the HDMI module and put in antenna. Took about 1.5 hours when all said and done.
