Received long letter from OE Connection explaining the Collision Link free trial period and the Terms of Agreement once subscribing.

Called OE to confirm what exactly we were already paying for and OPTED OUT of the Collision LInk.

Interesting statement made by OE employee about Parts Trader, "We are going to be acquiring Parts Trader in the next few months". What?

We were forced to sign up for Parts Trader to accommodate our ONE loyal body shop to meet State Farm rules for this Direct Repair facility.

What happens now, if and when this acquisition occurs, to those of us that bypassed the opportunity to buy in at discounted prices that were offered?

It would appear that there will be NO WAY OUT if we want to retain this customer.

Definition of EXTORTION from Dictionarydotcom: Law. the crime of obtaining money or some other thing of value by the abuse of one's office or authority.

Reminds me of Comcast Cable.

I was forced to sign up for Parts Trader to sell my parts to my bodyshop.

I don't even bother with it for other shops, it is a complete waste of time.
