Batteries

Postby TROUT » Fri Jan 22, 2016 12:11 pm

I had about 5 delco batteries come up as a new proposal on RIM this morning. Did I overlook something, is the General going to start selling us batteries?

I see that also... they are all at zero cost so if you exclude them, it shouldn't matter? But I am sure the general will find a way around that. Our rep doesn't like the fact we are stocking interstate and delco batteries

I was really hoping I wasn't the only one that had them come up

Ran the numbers we were proposed:
"Part Number: 88864065 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865242 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865243 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865244 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865249 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865250 Invalid Part Number!
Part Number: 88865275 Invalid Part Number!
How can RIM propose we stock numbers that GM says are Invalid?

I just called the RIM help desk and they told me to check the Bulletin Board. Here is a copy of the message from today:

Proposed Battery Part Numbers

1/22/16 Our desk is receiving many phone calls concerning the proposed battery part numbers. We are moving quickly to remove those part numbers from RIM management and resolve the proposal issue. PLEASE DO NOT APPROVE OR EXCLUDE THESE PART NUMBERS AT THIS TIME. We will update the bulletin board as more information is available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
