AutoMate prepaid SOR supercession issue

AutoMate prepaid SOR supercession issue

Postby B964 » Thu Feb 11, 2016 2:52 pm

Part #1 ordered and prepaid on SOR #x

Part superseded to #2 and received by shipper # as Part #2.

Part #1 and #2 show zero, SOR #x no longer exists, SOR search by customer shows nothing, open orders, back orders, received orders, SOR purge file etc all nothing.

Other than accounting just clearing it is there somewhere else to look?

Did the cost of the part change for the new part #?
Did you go to 17 and cancel the SOR because of the part number change?
If you did then it will automatically print a refund for the prepaid SOR.
When I do that on accident I just let accounting know that I had to cancel the SOR but we received the funds for it and they correct it on their end... :(

In 17 SOR was not there. I got this problem after two others messed with it so I don't know what they did for sure.

Yeah. They need to fix that for special orders. Anytime a special order has a PNC I have to cancel the SOR in 17 then write a note on the SOR to receipt the new part # in manually and sell the new #. A lot more work that could be fixed rather easily on Auto/Mates end.
Prepaid SOR's are almost always a headache no matter what too... :?
