Valve Cover Recall Part 2

I had some 12132229 clips on order for a couple weeks and it looked like they cancelled. I called SPAc and asked if they were indeed cancelled. He said yes because I ordered over the max quantity of 5 allowed to be ordered. I ordered 10 of them......I know I'm a selfish bast@#d but the problem is that the MSQ for that part is 10. The SPAC agent said that it's OK to re order now. I told him wonderful............. You just can't make this stuff up!!!! I have no idea what I have ordered that is coming or cancelled and I guess I'll just wait for GM to tell me what I need.

I find that funny we just got in 13 packages (5 in each) GM told us we would not see them for quite awhile they showed up in 2 days. This am we got one of the valve cover gaskets in our tote with our name on it and it was not for any of our orders????
I hope these people do not reproduce.

Don't know if I am late to the party but we have been having issues with the 2619's being packaged wrong.. Looks like they are super charged ones, so far we have about 5 or 6.. Anyone else having this issue?

A writer friend of mine in New Jersey, his parts Dept ordered 20 gaskets.... 17 of them came in packaged wrong.

GM says they ordered the wrong parts.

I have received a handful so far with no control # or packing slip on the package.
What are they trying to do to us; make this impossible to get parts then track them when we finally get them?

i also have received a handful so far with no control # or packing slip on the package,called today and found out going into view e packing slips with shipment #, and pulled up order with control # so i knew which customer i have ordered it for.

Well, at least I finally got acknowledgement TODAY from these clowns that backorders at least
EXIST for the valve covers that I ordered March 3rd.
