Nope, Its not a required course so I won't be either. Also,
NOTE: There is a $1,100 charge per person for this course for dealership personnel. This requires management approval and will be billed to your BARS billing open account.

PLUS travel expenses, hotel and several days out of the office. Sounds like a VACATION!

They really bragged this up in the beginning they said the people that went through it got a lot from it. Funny thing is the first group didn't pay $1,000.00 either. I did talk to one of the attendees and to him a lot of it was a refresher course.

LMAO

This is where they'll teach you to force your customers to buy more than they need and penalize them for buying from anyone else but you.

You will have several hours training on how to give your customers the runaround about where their orders are.

And you'll be given extra credit for not knowing how to speak understandable english to english speaking customers.

I'd give "almost" anything to see the course outline and the materials used in the course

HAVE MET THE NEW DMA. JUST OUT OF "TRAINING" - BUT SHOULD BE BETTER. AFTER ALL THE BAR IS NO LONGER SET...IT IS LAYING ON THE FLOOR.

After looking back at my last post I can tell my typing has NOT improved with time off. Oh well, fire me. LOL
Bigmack: "Amen brother".
You and Zep speek of the "corporate creed". "Building & Leading A Profitable Fixed Operations Team", you can actually GOOGLE this and come up with siminar man, which is probably where GM got it from. Some "retired" Exec. is now selling the bible on how to screw the customer with a smile, all the while to corporate goons do not realize they are the ones getting screwed. My wife went to a 3 day "siminar" involving the same type of scenario for independant shops. When she got back home she stated, "I lost interest after the first day when I went out for some drinks with friends and there was siminar man (speaking to someone else), somewhat wasted at the bar, complaining about how he wished the whole gig was over as he was tired of the crap." Soooooo "This is where they'll teach you to force your customers to buy more than they need and penalize them for buying from anyone else but you.

On target statement that even applies to the siminar its self........
