GM recall 15822

Postby possum » Mon Apr 18, 2016 8:06 pm

Has anyone found out an ETA on parts for this seat belt recall on 14-15 Sierra/Silverados? Our DMA referred me back to the GlobalConnect message.
We have about 23 used ones on the lot on "STOP SALE"

In GMCCA's world, you'll get it when you get it.

Yeah but I wish they could tell me "June" so Sales would stop asking me every 4 hours.

refer them to your GM rep... When I did my rep said, "there's a recall?"

OK so it's been two weeks now... I've prolly been asked about this 6 times a day by various managers here. I now have a group text set up to let everyone know every morning that I don't know anything.

When they ask "How much longer?', tell them it'll be "Soon"

when the cobalt cylinder recall started two years ago, the local nbc tv station called into our parts department fishing for information about the recall.

we told them nothing.
