23103351 vs 19207763

Hypotheical question.....

08 Chevy pickup, needs the vent solenoid per tech's diagnosis.

Build the vehicle in the catalog, and 3130 group shows the 23103351, along with needing the 19257603 jumper harness. There's a note to use 23103351 in place of 19207763.

Which do you use, and why?

We stock the 19207763, and the 23103351.

Hmmm...my initial reply was going to be to use the 19207763 to exhaust stock and make way for the newer 23103351. But, I see now there's not actually a PNC on this. Your guess is as good as mine. We have one of each on the shelf as well.

We are using the 23103351 here, as you can use it with the existing evap hose in place on the vehicle. Using the 19207763 requires the use of the 5/8" hose to connect the vent and filter...but that's just me.

I assumed that since the catalog says to use the 3351 in place of the 7763, that is what we were supposed to do.

Glad I'm not the only one scratching my head over it.

19207763. It is $63.18 more than the 23103351 at list. Gotta make up for the "14%" Conquest gross somewhere...... :)

Bailo: what do you mean by PNC?

Edit.... I'm a dumbass. Figured it out while of all things, walking my dog.

This made me laugh out loud when I read it. That's how I work too--always comes to me at the most random times!
