I can receive all my future updates on USB for only $18 a month. :o

Wow, what a bargain.

I guess the $1200+ a month I pay for this POS catalog isn't enough.

I called Snapon about that after I got my update package, that is $18 a month on top of your regular subscription fee.

$18 is worth not having to watch these 6-hour updates. I've done the last two by Flash drive and you literally plug it in, start the update with a few prompts and walk away. Come back the next day and unplug it. Plus when the next one comes, you have a free 64G 3.0 flash drive to use for anything else (the stick is worth the $18 alone)

Unless there is a hiccup, and you have to hit the enter key, like the USB update I started last night when I left and is still running this morning.

How long is your contract for the catalog? Ours is up for renewal and they want to up it to 3 years. I'm thinking(hoping) that if they are trying to tie us to the catalog for longer... GM may be getting ready to release the catalog to competitors.

Just wishful thinking. GM screws us every chance they get, maybe they are ready to screw Snap On.

For those of you who only use the online version of the catalog... what does it cost you? We have all been using it for the last two months because the local one is do goddamn slow, its not worth bothering with even with all the updates. Would need like 8 licenses...
