Cost is greater than sale price!!

Cost is greater than sale price!!

If you are getting this message. You best build or run a report that shows your cost and list prices, and see how many errors you will have. With the MyPriceLink not showing list, some of us entered a list price before Novembers update and our DMS system did not delete the manually entered List price, and the November update caused some parts cost higher than the manual entered List price.
I built a report and shot it to excel and was shocked at what I found. I have a some work cut out for me.
We need our List prices back, please.

Make up your own pricing in the mypricestinks source and don't worry about it.

If COST Is─────To───LIST Will Be─
0.00......... 199.99........ COST + 100.00
200.00.......... 9999999.99..... COST + 66.67

I have always kept an eye on this board to learn and hopefully get better at my job. I ran into an issue yesterday that after seeing this thread I had to share because it impacts the DMS cost + workflow discussed here.

A DIYer called in for a price on 89023029. I have been playing with MyPriceLink so I used it to get the price. Came up $743.00. I then pulled up my cost - $524.81. This seemed really high but I confirmed it. It's the list that was really low. Cost + 67% would equal a list of $876.43. This really got my attention. Then it got crazy. In MyPriceLink I entered a sell price below cost and a reimbursement $ amount came up. Just like bump does. Is this for real? WTH?

I quoted the DIYer the $743.00 and am waiting to hear back. But if he buys it the default list in my DMS won't be right because it is not Cost + 67%. If this is something we are going to be seeing more and more the DMS formula won't work.

Depends what state you are in.

I'm at $743 here but it's $874.68 when I switch to Alaska.
