Wholesale receipt signatures

Wondering if other dealers get signatures on their copies of their wholesale deliveries. We along with our sister Chrysler store have not had copies signed since the 90's and have not had a problem. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

We have our charge accounts sign the cashier copy of the invoice. We don 't get signatures from anyone that pays us (COD)

We get signatures on every invoice, retail, wholesale charge account or cash, check, etc. There are legal disclaimers on our invoice about return policies, warranties, that the parts were received in good condition, etc and the signature means they agree to these and accept the parts accordingly. For retail customers we ask that they read the disclosers and sign.

We don't get signatures with anything except credit card payment

Signatures on everything. Even retail, they sign the credit card receipt and our invoice.

We, too, are very trusting and do not require our drivers to obtain signatures on charge invoices. We also have a large fuel distribution, as well as gas station customers who charge here. The people here are very good about paying, and fortunately, we don't have many issues. The hand shake still goes a long way in this town!
