GM Tires and Fitments

GM Tires and Fitments

Postby MoparPM2402 » Tue Mar 21, 2017 2:04 pm

I run a Chrysler parts department
There was a GM dealer that closed near us so we are starting to see some of their traffic

I am looking to get a top 50 list of SKUs and fitments for GM vehicles, mainly trucks if possible
Any help would be greatly appreciated
We have ramped up our tire business and want to keep that going

Thanks

GM has most of the same tire suppliers/dealers Chrysler does, just a different Tire Billing Program. Those stores should have no problem getting the information for you from their sources. If you contact your store representative, they may even be able to print it out for you.

I feel like SKU's will vary by region, as not every dealer will stock the same tire or use a lot of the same tire.

I can pop you some of the most popular sizes and OE tire brand/model...

Truck/SUV P series:

225/65/17 - Equinox/Terrain - Michelin Latitude Tour
235/60/17 - Terrain and some Equinox - Firestone Destination LE
235/55/18 - Equinox/Terrain - Michelin Latitude Tour
245/70/17 - Silverado/Sierra/Traverse - General Grabber HTS (now the HTS 60?)
255/60/19 - Traverse/Acadia/Enclave/Outlook - Michelin Latitude Tour
255/70/17 - Silverado/Sierra - Bridgestone Dueler something or other.
265/70/17 - Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon - Goodyear Wrangler ATS on 2007-2013, now Bridgestone Dueler RHS
255/65/18 - Traverse/Acadia/Enclave/Outlook - Goodyear Fortera HL
265/65/18 - Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon - 2007-2013 were Bridgestone Dueler RHS, now they use the Goodyear Wrangler SRA
275/55/20 - Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon - Goodyear Eagle LS2 and Continental LX20
285/45/22 - Not so much really, but its the size they use on the truck accessory 22" wheels. Bridgestone Dueler RHS

LT Truck/SUV:

245/75/17 - Silverado/Sierra HD - Firestone TransForce HT
265/70/17 - Silverado/Sierra HD - Bridgestone Duravis M700
265/70/18 - Silverado/Sierra HD - Michelin LTX AT2 or Goodyear Wrangler SRA
265/60/20 - Silverado/Sierra HD - Goodyear Wrangler SRA

That's also the OE tire on every 2007 to current Escalade with 22's.

RHS is the all terrain. Highway applications (Escalade) would be the Dueler Alenza HL.
