Yeah, not taking longer than three days to update the EPC from DVD would be nice.

Or if you load the updates from USB when they have major updates, it doesn't reset the system back a month and have to run online updates for 2 days just to get back to where you were!!

It seemed as if the DVDs were less hassle. This USB updating is crap! After all of the recent "upgrades" in other GM applications; I don't want them to jack around with our catalogs. I guess we will use the online version, IF it will continue to function properly post upgrade.

I showed this email to our IT guy that just happened to be here when I got it. He does our updates.
He was not amused.

I started the new DVD update yesterday at 430pm. I'm betting that computer is still down come Monday morning.

940 am this morning and the DVD just finished. Now to do the web updates. It might be usable by the weekend
