GM Black touch up paint 19328528

Postby TimK » Tue Dec 19, 2017 1:45 pm

Has been cancelled because it is now "CANADA ONLY."

The part number has been removed from the parts catalog.

RIM will keep ordering it and it will keep cancelling.

The new number is 19367651.

What a pack of morons running the ship at GM.

They have gotten rid of Olympic white to. Part # 19328527 is now Canada only. 19367652 is USA and Mexico. Must be an EPA thing. Little tube of paint causes global warming. Some touch up colors in tubes have been removed from the catalog. Look up white for a 2008 truck and it will only show spray paint.

I've noticed that on a few colors. Most recently was White Diamond...I just assumed that it was due to the fact that it was a 3 stage color. Seems as though that's not the case.

I'm getting that great GM feeling.

I've been trying to order 19353321 for over 6 months for a Buick Envision customer. Seems it's only legal to sell this paint in China.

This sounds just like the headlight fiasco where GM just changed the part numbers in the catalog to a new number instead of superseding the parts.

All sales history goes out the window, and you end up having the correct part on the shelf but don't know it because they changed the number in the catalog.

It then takes up to a year to build up the sales history to stock the new number, which should have been in stock the whole time.

Brought to you by the same idiots that came up with PASE.

Rim ordered me a couple of 15263240 TPMS's and we now have to buy 16 to get 1 even though they were in a pack of 1 each stuffed into a glad bag .

Called Partech for a color only listed as a spray-can. They told me it was an error in cataloging and would be fixed with the next update???????

I will believe that when I see it I still haven't seen the November update.

I though the idea of having your EPC connected to the internet was so that they could do the updates in a blink of an eye. Just did our updates so does that mean we will have to wait until March to get the paint tube numbers relisted? That is a bunch of you know what. Oh well just another day in the life of GM parts. Gotta love that great GM feeling.

This is what happens when the people working for GM have never worked in a dealership. I wonder if they have ever even been in a dealership except to try and sell the dealer some POS program.
