Do any of you guys know of any company that will come and pick up take -off air bags . It is such a hassel shipping those things back. That may be a good business for somebody to go into, going around to shops and collecting these things for a mass disposal that satisfies the government and GM Ford Chrysler Toyota etc

Hello,

For Nissan and VW airbag returns for Takata we are required to use XPO. No more than 200 pieces on a pallet and can be cross-packed, i.e. drivers and passenger side inflators on same pallet as well as different manufacturers on same pallet. I recently just shipped about 150 of them back. SO happy to have the space.. for now.

We use Safety-Kleen Systems / Clean Harbors
After searching and storing for years, finally got rid of used modules and seat belt pre-tensioners. contact Clean Harbors and they should be able to set you up with some empty 55 gal drums to store them in. when almost full, they'll pick them up for disposal and leave you with an empty drum. Sure has made my life easier.
