Got a new answer today. "Level of service states we have 7 working days to get this part to you" I told her just because you can does not mean you should, don't think Peggy got it!

Hey boys and girls are you ready? What a week so far!!! Customer bought a 2018 Equinox and had it for two hours before he wanted to take his wife for a ride. His wifes seat belt retractor would not pull out. GOOD LORD……….. I bet he got an earful. Alright so I put in an OVN on 1/30 and its coming out of 075 Pontiac. My answerbacks this morning say shipped OVN with $21.87 in shipping but no tracking number. HMMMM. Can everyone see where this is going? I called my favorite SPAC dept and she didn’t know (go figure ) but she will call Pontiac and get an answer. This was early this morning and in the afternoon I received a call from the SPAC agent. She said that 075 was having problems on Tuesday and they hoped to correct them tonight. BUT……. Seeing as my part is Hazmat they can’t ship OVN and it will be approximately 7 days. I about soiled myself laughing. I told her I had a OVN seat belt for a different vehicle that is UN3268 class 9 hazmat shipment from……GUESS WHERE………. YES… 075 Pontiac. It was not even an OVN order but still shipped on 1/30 and received Fedex on 1/31. I can’t get mad anymore but I’m disgusted with the level of service from GM regarding all these backorders and just a lack of empathy for what we have to endure just trying to fix their stuff. Have a call in to the 075 dealer liaison but nothing yet.

It's definitely a good idea to have all the liason's phone numbers at the PDCs. Those guys/ladies were always willing to help out any time I needed. Fuck those SPAC dopes

The hits just keep on coming. Needed a 1/4 panel back in October for a 18 XT5, no listing in catalog. Call Partech, given a part number and told no stock available.. Immediately put in a SPAC Case, January 24th still waiting. Call SPAC to see what the latest info is, am told order was cancelled because it is not available. Flipped out on the rep asking who gave the authority to cancel this order as I have been waiting since beginning of October? I was told it does not say but the part is NOT available so they can not supply it. I ask for a supervisor, get some "person" who tells me that the part is no longer in production and will not be available until plans are approved etc. Again I flip out demanding they pull one off the line, that how can it no longer be in production if they are building the damn car? I get no where fast!! My body guy and I decided then to check the catalog to see if there is a new number, find a different number, call Partech AGAIN to see if this is correct, they say yes, I asked where the first number came from, the guy says he doesn't know but the number is for an Acadia. I flip again! I ordered the correct number and now it shows POSSBILY available next week.. You can't make this stuff up. Plus I have a 16 SRX needing a body part on order since October and got the same run around, now this one has been cancelled also. I am about to lose my $hit over this!

They have definitely been out of control lately. But have no fear; OSWAT is starting on Feb. 5th. :lol:

Just a follow up. Sorry……. It was not a 2018 Equinox but a 2017 Acadia needing a seatbelt. It’s getting harder to keep SPAC cases straight. I received the OVN today and it only took 2 days on a next day order. Most of what the SPAC agent told me was BS. The dealer liaison at 075 also said she could not see where it was shipped. It came in with a totally different tracking number. It seems as though these big parts plants(075 076 058) are a mess……………..maybe that’s why we have backorders on all these common parts at our PDC’s. All I know is my customer may be able to get a few days of driving in before his first payment.

Ordered a fuse 84082852 on 02/05/18. Its an SLP part so upgraded to overnight. Did not get yesterday and check where it is this morning. It's been sitting in Greensboro since yesterday, "Per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date." Scheduled to be delivered today. WTF
