It's been sitting in Greensboro since yesterday, "Per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date." Scheduled to be delivered today. WTF

Happened to me last week. I ended up buying it from another dealer cost -50% and overnighted it myself. The part from GM ended up coming the day after so took 3 business days to get it from GM even though it was a SLP part. The process is broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There seems to be no urgency on GM's part to satisfy their customers. Just sell them the car and hope they come back for another one. They will forget it took 4 weeks and still waiting to get a PCV heater for their brand new Trax, that the systems freezes up on and then it doesn't run. Just one example of the monstrous backorder situation. That Great GM Feeling at its finest.

Ordered a 84068387 steering wheel for a 2018 Canyon on 1/19 and it went on backorder. The number changed to 84394043 and I knew this was going to be a pain in the ass trying to get. SPAC case and escalated it and called in to get updates, all the usual sh!t you have to do. The only thing I didn’t do was get a DM involved because I knew that would only cut me off from any info SPAC has. (YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL YOUR APM FOR INFO BECAUSE I CAN’T TELL YOU ANYTHING………. ) I called on 2/5 and was told stock was being received and a follow up date of 2/6. Called SPAC today because no update yesterday. I was told it is in process and they have 72hrs to process SPAC case and I should see it by Friday or early next week. Where is the urgency!!!!! This wheel was ordered because the heater in the wheel doesn’t work. This week is below zero nights and highs in the teens. WTF this guy doesn’t need a stinken heater……… right.

Where did you get this info? I can't find anything anywhere. We've started receiving parts from Lansing with awful new labels. We can barely read the tiny text on them, let alone scan the teeny tiny barcode.

I'm guessing the rocket surgeon that created the new labels probably got a raise and promotion for it.

I am hoping they offer us an eye care insurance plan at reduced rates. I am 58 and using readers to see things as it is, I need to get a stronger pair to read these freakin labels. Gotta Love It.

Name anything that they come up with that actually makes our jobs easier, more efficient, profitable, or better.

I see it is going to be better with OSWAT dealer tag enhancements to go into effect 2-7-18. YAH
