Even when I do upgrade to a CSO I don't get them.......from any PDC. 26% on last nights RIM order. The supply chain issue is horrible and even when they do get stock in it will get lost in the crossdock for a week.

To add insult to injury, now GM wants to order ACDelco parts and OE parts in bulk as part of their Off The Truck Promotion. Gotta Love That Great GM Feeling. I wonder if they will have enough drivers to deliver all the orders.

It just gets better and better.

RIM wants me to stock a 25201063 turbo. Fine, whatever. It orders on stock order R051.
What does the answerback say? "CANCEL - PART NOT YET AVAILABLE".
It replaces 25199832, which RIM does not recognize now.
What are we supposed to do?

"Off The Truck"? I guess they mean off the truck heading over to the Amazon fulfillment center. :o

Off the truck is probably a little more like off the "boat"
There is a good chance part of the BO problems stems from the fact that GM has closed their Korean plants.
A couple of them make engine parts for Chevy and Buick. I'm not sure which ones or if they are what you are
missing, but I would lay odds that GM is just dumb enough to close a plant with no forethought of replacement suppliers.
Just look up GM Korea on wiki and then the article that USNews has. Could be the answer to you frustration.

Although we try our best to maintain inventory levels, there are rare occasions where we experience out-of-stock or backorder situations.

This taken from a performance bulletin thought to myself

If they were on RIM, the parts you really need would not be RIM eligible

it's always been a JOKE and continues to be .... I'm above 90% RIM compliant and over the past 12 months we have AVERAGED 35% of our actual GM parts sales coming from RIM numbers. That's abysmal and GM should be cowering in a corner; instead, their fix is to come out with MORE stupid programs. Hey, look at the red squirrel over there !!
